About Blue Ridge
Blue Ridge Campground is a private, family-owned campground located along the Blue Ridge Mountains and is situated not far from the Appalachian Trail. The campground is the former Bake Oven Campground that got its name from the Bake Oven Knob , a rocky pinnacle located at the top of Blue Mountain near the Carbon-Lehigh county lines.
The campground is located in the western edge of the Pocono Mountains. We are close to Jim Thorpe, where there is rafting, bike trails, hiking and train rides. We are also close to Allentown, Lehighton and Tamaqua for sightseeing, amusement parks and shopping. Grocery shopping is a short ten minute drive. We also have a camp store for those forgotten items, snacks, ice cream, drinks, firewood, etc.
Blue Ridge has sites suitable for most size RV's. Sites include water, sewer, electric and cable. Pop up and tents have water and electric. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings. We offer seasonal as well as nightly, weekly or monthly sites. We also have organized activities, an annual pig roast, cook outs and assorted covered dishes, ceramics and Bingo every weekend.
Thank you for camping with us,
John and Diane Wood
